Terms of service.

Valiance Media LLC is a company based in the United States. We help businesses run better with systems, software, data and AI, and we run businesses of our own. The Site describes our work, hosts two free tools, and lets you contact us.

Nothing on the Site is an offer to provide services. An engagement starts with a conversation and is governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls for that engagement.

The Site is provided for information. You may:

• Browse and read the content.
• Contact us through the form or by email.
• Share links to any page.
• Use the free tools for lawful purposes.

You may not:

• Use the Site or the tools for any unlawful purpose.
• Damage, disable, overload or impair the Site, or interfere with anyone else using it.
• Probe or test the Site for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or try to get around rate limits or access controls.
• Copy the Site with automated tools in a way that burdens it.

We may limit or block access to the Site or a tool if we believe these Terms are being broken.

Vault and the Data Visualizer are free, need no account, and are provided as a convenience. We work to keep them reliable, but they come with no guarantees.

• Availability. We may change, pause or retire either tool at any time without notice. We do not promise uptime.
• Your content. You are responsible for what you put into the tools and for who you send it to. Do not use them to share anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to share.
• Vault links. Secrets expire and are limited by view count. Once a link is used up or expired, the contents are gone and we cannot recover them. Anyone holding the link (and the PIN, if you set one) can open the secret, so protect the link the way you would protect the secret itself.
• Vault email. If you choose to send a link by email through Vault, the full link, including its key, passes through our mail server for delivery.
• Data Visualizer. Runs entirely in your browser. Your data stays on your device and we never see it, so we cannot back it up or restore it for you.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, illustrations, design and software, belongs to Valiance Media LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from the content on the Site without our written permission. Linking to the Site is always fine.

Anything you put into the free tools remains yours. We claim no rights over it.

The Site and the free tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The Site or the tools will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
• The information on the Site is accurate, complete or current.
• Defects will be corrected.

Content on the Site is general information, not professional advice. Results described in our case studies belong to those clients and are not a promise of what you will get.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valiance Media LLC and its members, officers, employees and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or the free tools, even if we have been told such damages were possible.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

The Site links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when they are posted here, and the date at the top tells you when that was. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
